Porsche has announced the addition of the new GTS models to its Cayenne lineup, an upgrade that combines robust power with everyday practicality. The introduction of the GTS versions, which include an SUV and a Coupé, marks the completion of the series that was significantly overhauled in 2023. These models are equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 500 horsepower, wrapped in a chassis that promotes dynamic driving without compromising the vehicle’s all-terrain capabilities.

New Cayenne GTS models enhance Porsche's 2024 SUV offerings

The 2024 Cayenne GTS models stand out with their enhanced performance features, including a lower ride height and advanced chassis technology borrowed from the Cayenne Turbo GT. These improvements contribute to a more engaging driving experience, characterized by quick responsiveness and agile cornering. Moreover, the vehicles maintain a strong focus on sportiness and comfort, featuring adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

Further technical revisions have seen the Cayenne GTS’s engine increase its output by 40 horsepower over its predecessor, now producing a maximum torque of 660 Nm. This power boost is complemented by an updated eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission, which enhances the SUV’s performance by reducing response and shift times, especially in Sport and Sport Plus modes. The Cayenne GTS excels with a top speed of 275 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

The exterior of the Cayenne GTS models exhibits a distinctive Porsche aesthetic with black ‘GTS’ lettering and dark-tinted lighting elements, alongside new High-Gloss Black trim and redesigned 21-inch RS Spyder-design wheels. Inside, the cabin features a heated GT sports steering wheel and extensive use of the Race-Tex material, providing a luxurious touch and added comfort. The interior also offers customization options with GTS-specific packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo.

Adding to the allure of the new models, Porsche has integrated the latest technology enhancements from its 2023 Cayenne series. These include a curved digital instrument cluster, HD matrix LED headlights, a Bose® surround sound system, and ambient lighting, enhancing the overall driving experience. The Cayenne GTS Coupé further includes a fixed panoramic glass roof and an optional sports exhaust system for a more dynamic feel.

Both models are now available for order with deliveries expected to commence in Europe by Summer 2024. Completing its revised Cayenne series, Porsche introduces the new GTS models, blending exceptional dynamism with daily usability. The 2024 lineup now includes a high-performance SUV and Coupé, each powered by a 500-horsepower, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This potent combination is supported by a meticulously tuned chassis derived from the Cayenne Turbo GT, emphasizing enhanced on-road capabilities and superior handling.

With a focus on technical advancement, the Cayenne GTS models showcase a lower suspension setup and are equipped with the latest in adaptive air suspension technology, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). The new models promise an exhilarating driving experience, bolstered by increased engine output and a fine-tuned eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission that improves shift times in Sport and Sport Plus modes.

The new GTS models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, reaching speeds up to 275 km/h. Externally, the vehicles maintain Porsche’s classic design ethos but with modern twists such as High-Gloss Black accents and anthracite grey wheels. The sporty theme extends inside with premium Race-Tex finishes and optional interior color schemes, enhancing the luxurious feel. Technological upgrades are central to the 2024 Cayenne GTS models. The vehicles come equipped with a state-of-the-art curved digital instrument cluster, dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlights, and a Bose® surround sound system.

The Cayenne GTS Coupé variant adds exclusive features like a fixed panoramic roof and an adaptive extending rear spoiler, offering further customization through lightweight sports packages that reduce vehicle weight and heighten the sporty appeal. Now available for order, these models are slated for delivery in Europe in Summer 2024, promising Porsche enthusiasts a blend of tradition and innovation in what remains one of the most anticipated updates to the Cayenne series.
